Going through the reviews; it looks like it can be a hit and miss. Ive dined here a few times now, and i have to admit the food (schnitzel) has been good so far. I guess it’s hard to stuff up a schnitty - then again 😂. The chef himself came out and cleared the table. Impressed. Well done guys.

Love this pub. Great atmosphere and great food. Beautiful place to visit at the outer Northern reaches of Sydney. The Little museum up stairs is worth a look as is the convict Trail walk just on the other side of the river via the car ferry.

Ventured all the way to Wisemans Ferry with the intention of having lunch at the local pub. Parking was an issue and eventually found a spot at the nearby bowling club. My first and lasting impressions of the pub were disappointing. It is run down and poorly laid out. The addiitions were poorly designed and detracted from the amazing, original structure. On a positive note, the staff were friendly and the meal satisfactory. The upstairs museum had potential, but most of the displays and articles were poorly displayed and lacked maintenance.
