For ANZAC Day, my family and I visited The Lakes Pub for dinner at around 6:00 pm. Despite how busy the venue was, we were warmly greeted and made to feel genuinely welcome. Our group of 13 was accommodated with ease, which we greatly appreciated. Tegan and Annie were exceptional—quickly organising seating for us and providing attentive, friendly service throughout. Their professionalism and willingness to help truly stood out. This high level of service continued during the ordering process. My daughter doesn’t eat red meat and asked if she could substitute a chicken schnitzel in place of the usual beef option. Annie handled the request without hesitation, which we were very grateful for. The food arrived promptly, and the quality was outstanding. Overall, the combination of excellent service, delicious food, and a welcoming atmosphere made for a fantastic dining experience. We will certainly be returning for more enjoyable lunches and dinners in the future.

Had a great experience at The Lakes Hotel. The menu has a solid mix of pub classics and a few elevated options — plenty to choose from whether you’re after something light or a proper meal. The pork ribs and schnitzel are standouts, and the pizzas are well priced and generous. Sides like the sweet potato fries and mash were spot on too. Everything came out quickly and was cooked well. Service was friendly and efficient, and the overall vibe is relaxed and easy — exactly what you want from a local. Good value for money and a place I’d happily come back to.

We decided to head out for lunch at The Lakes Hotel @ The Entrance. We ordered the steak special for $19. All I can say is WOW! The steak was seasoned perfectly and cooked to perfection. The salad was fresh and zesty. Chips were fantastic accompanied with a beautiful Diane sauce. I honestly cant believe how good this meal was! Thank you chef and very friendly staff😀

Have been a few times now. Enjoyed the meals I've eaten. The staff are always polite and helpful. It can get very busy at times, especially when live music is on. I go for the karaoke and I have a blast! I especially appreciate that they have karaoke for so many hours. That keeps me going back each week.
