We recently celebrated Mother's Day at The Hornsby Inn and had an amazing experience. The food was fantastic, and there were plenty of activities and entertainment catering to people of all ages and tastes, making it a great day for the whole family. The staff are always friendly and attentive. We regularly visit on weekends to enjoy the live bands or stop in for a midweek meal at the bistro, and we're never disappointed. The bistro consistently serves great food and the atmosphere is welcoming. The Hornsby Inn is a great local venue that offers something for everyone. Highly recommended!

If you’re looking for bold flavors and satisfying comfort food, this spot delivers a memorable experience. I recently tried the pork ribs, peri peri chicken, and halloumi fries, and each dish brought something special to the table. The pork ribs were the undeniable star of the meal. Perfectly slow-cooked, the meat was incredibly tender and practically fell off the bone. The glaze was rich and sticky, with a beautiful balance of smokiness and sweetness that lingered pleasantly after each bite. The peri peri chicken was equally impressive, offering a vibrant kick of spice without overwhelming the palate. The seasoning was well-layered, and the chicken remained juicy on the inside with a nicely charred exterior that added depth to the flavor. The halloumi fries were a standout side—crispy, golden, and irresistibly moreish. Each bite delivered that signature salty richness of halloumi, with a satisfying crunch on the outside and a soft, chewy center. They paired perfectly with the mains and were ideal for sharing. The overall dining experience was elevated by friendly service and a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere, making it a great place to enjoy hearty, flavorful dishes. Overall Rating: 5/5 A must-visit for anyone craving well-executed grilled meats and indulgent sides—this meal hits all the right notes.

Great pub with an atmosphere that’s warm and welcoming. Fantastic staff and Management that were so supportive and helpful. Beautiful bars and original timber work, hidden spaces around every corner. The Bistro is a relaxed place to enjoy the best Fresh cooked cuisine of the finest quality. I highly recommend this nostalgic hotel for a quick drink and meal or a short stay . The hotel is a hop and a skip to Westfield and the train station and the Pacific Highway just around the corner. We will be back in the future. Thank youxxxxxx
