After a fun trip on The Picnic Train a group of us had a marvelous lunch today. We all thought our meals were delicious, servings were generous and the bar and restaurant staff were friendly. The fire was inviting and the old building with massive beams and exposed bricks provided an interesting talking point for us. Husband is already planning catching the regular train down another day just to have the Caesar Salad with white anchovies again! We also enjoyed the Korean chicken ribs - half of which came home for 'Ron - and the lobster roll.
Irish music first Sunday of the month. The Sunday roast is gigantic. The atmosphere is buzzing. It is best to book because it has become popular. The Guinness is creamy and delicious.
Great pub hidden away from the main street. Food was fantastic and delicious. Beers are cold and the bartenders are friendly. Great place to have lunch
We recently travelled to the NSW South coast town of Kiama on a heritage train, and we had yums in our tums lunch at The Grand Hotel! I decided to have the Beer Battered Fish and chips. And it was just SO AWESOME! VERY delicious! The staff The Grand Hotel are professional, friendly, and courteous. We can NOT recommend visiting to The Grand Hotel highly enough! So, If you ever find yourself in Kiama, do yourself a HUGE favour and dine and drinks at The Grand Hotel! :)
Over from UK. Taco Tuesday. Great food friendly staff. Place was buzzing with locals. 5 stars for me.
