The Argyle Hotel

Food was fantastic. Had the rump special, beautifully cooked, great flavours & beautifully presented. Also ordered the chicken burger. Same as above. Tasty, well presented. The guy at the bar/delivering the meals was happy chatty and punctual. Good service.

Popped a truck tire 3 hours from our destination but thankfully only 10 minutes up the road we found The Argyle where Damo and Mikayla sorted us out 2 rooms for the night. Had a good chat to Damo about the history of the pub, very interesting! Great steaks and even better service ;) Highly recommend!

We had a lovely lunch with a wine and a beer at a reasonable price. They have Trivia night on Wednesday and a live band on fridays. We enjoyed it immensely!.

Stopped in for dinner and were greeted so warmly by the staff—what a great start! Wow, the food was amazing. We had the steak sandwich and the parmi, and we honestly couldn’t fault either of them. Definitely a place we’d return to.
