This review is for the restaurant. The staff were friendly and attentive. When we mentioned food allergies, the staff and chef had triple checked the ingredients of the items we ordered. The wines by glass were good prices. Chicken parmi was delicious, melty cheese on top of schnitzel which had thin crispy crumble with soft chicken meat inside. Crumbled lamb cutlet was very well fried as well, but the meat was on the dry side. Location is convenient with plenty of parking both outdoor indoor and under cover (Coles parking).

Had lunch on Sunday. Excellent service by actual people, not just QR codes. The Rib Eye steak I had was the best I've ever tasted in Brisbane! Delicious and superbly cooked! Mother in law had the roast beef which was a large portion but only cost $12. I've had a few lunches here, and a couple of Christmas Day's as well. I highly recommend The Colmslie for a meal.

My daughter’s 21st birthday was held in the private dining area back in Feb of this year . It was a last-minute booking, and Nina, the event coordinator, was incredibly accommodating. The two servers, Jess and Eamon, looked after us throughout the day, and the food was fantastic. I felt at ease with the service I received. While there’s always a chance for something to go wrong, the team on the day truly went above and beyond. All the guests were happy with the service. As most of the guests had young children, parents can relax knowing they can see the children playing in the playground, and it was more secure. That was the selling point for why I wanted to book this venue. Thank you Nina and the team.

We had breakfast here on a Sunday morning. I ordered the biggest breakfast and was asked what would I like instead the chippolara sausage, so got extra bacon. The bacon is cooked on the char grill, which completely changes the flavour and when we said something about the bacon at end, the waitress said, "you could of asked for it to be cooked in the frying pan". NO WHERE IT'S NOTED WE CHAR GRILL OUR BACON. Thus is a place that we'll not be turning to for breakfast. We have had dinner here and it was great, just not a breakfast place.

Welcome for our booking was great. We were seated quickly and offered a pre dinner drink. Waitress came to take food order and we placed our drink order. Another waitress asked for our food order. We ordered 2 shared entrees and 3 mains. Mains arrived before entrees and when entrees arrived one was wrong. The whole meal felt rushed when I wanted to relax and unwind after a long work week.
