Restaurant is impressively large. Service staff were all very friendly and, while we ate quite early (5pm) dinner came out super quickly. Meals were a good size for the price. Would be nice to have a choice of dressing with the salad. App was OK to use to place orders, although not sure why the thickshakes aren't listed. Kids playground was a great bonus.

I went to Everton Park Hotel for lunch on a Saturday with a few friends and it turned out to be such a lovely spot to unwind. We sat outside, and the table setup was great. Plenty of space and a really nice atmosphere. Our meals came out promptly after ordering, and both the kids’ and adults’ dishes were a good size for the price. Non‑alcoholic drinks were a bit on the pricey side, but everything else made up for it. Even though there were birthday parties happening and it was pretty busy, the tables were spaced out enough that the noise was totally manageable and we still felt like we had our own space. Overall, it was a great place to catch up with friends and relax.

5 of us went to dinner this week. Meals bought out at different times and not altogether! Seniors Chicken Schnitzel consisted of a large one just cut in half. Nice but ……… Should have been a whole smaller version chicken schnitz. Steak Sandwich - steak very tough and chewy and couldn’t be eaten Spaghetti Bolognaise - tasteless! Couldn’t eat it all. Steak potatoes and veges- steak was still mooing when cut. Ordered medium but looked rare. Think the food was expensive for what we got. Not to mention the price of drinks. $13 for a glass of wine and that wasn’t a double either - just a small. I think the lemon lime and bitters was about $7.50. 2 shared the steak sandwich and asked the waiter for another plate. That didn’t come and she had to end up going herself to ask for one. Wouldn’t bother going again. Might be good for families outside in the playground but we think everything is too expensive for what we got.

I will start by saying that I overall enjoyed my stay but unfortunately that was not due to the support I was given by staff but by coincidences. The bad: As I would be arriving super early into Brisbane (5:30am), I had sent an email to the hotel to ask about potentially checking in earlier and offered to pay for the early check, and never received a reply. I called a few days before my arrival and asked again, the lovely person on the phone said she i could check in after 10am as soon as the room was cleaned and that she would check with the manager and get back to me, they didn't. Thankfully, I had thought to rent a car just in case so after a 4.5hr overnight flight, and absolutely exhausted, the car came in handy for a power nap at a local shopping centre. At night, because it is also a pub and people come out for a smoke where the rooms are located, it was annoying trying to sleep with loud voices outside your room. The good: my trip was a birthday surprise for my sister who was going to have a dinner at the venue, hence why I looked to stay there. So when it came to dinner, the serving staff and food were great, they even have Jollof Rice (West African) on the menu which was a welcome surprise (add more seasning!). The indoor, fenced kids play area is fantastic for families eating with kids (the kids menu could be better) and loved the food portion size. I know my sister will be frequenting the hotel for dining with her kids and same with me when I visit again, I just won't stay there again due to the lack of communication.
