Belmont Hotel

Had scotch steak for tea tonight (Wednesday) at the Belmont Hotel and the meal was great. The place was pumping with NRL on the big screen in the beer garden and live acoustic tunes inside. Steak cooked medium as requested and came with creamy mash and veg. On Wednesday nights they have a buy one main, get on free deal which made it excellent value. Would definitely eat here again!

Rooms were very clean and nice comfy bed and pillows. We had an issue in our room with a leaky aircon and this was fixed straight away and we were given a new room - customer service was great. Check in and out an easy process, nice central location. A bit noisy at times with people leaving the pub but not too bad. Would not recommend the food downstairs unfortunately, better off heading elsewhere. Would stay here again 😊

The rooms have been beautifully renovated and surpassed our expectations. The only downside was the noise. I had requested a quiet room, however there was a noisy exhaust outside our window which thankfully was turned off later in the evening. The walls also seemed very thin. We could clearly hear people coming and going in the hallway, doors opening and closing, and even the fan in the room next door whenever the bathroom light was switched on. Unfortunately, the guests next door were unwell during the early hours of the morning, which we could hear very clearly 🤢 The room key also stopped working just before 10pm, so when loading up the car, be careful to keep the door ajar so you don’t accidentally lock yourself out once reception has closed for the night.

Very clean and a modern hotel. Good variety was extensive and quality of pub food was standard. The bistro team were well organised to provide a large food order at the same time. Parking located in the side street, beer prices 6/10 in value.

The rooms were an ideal size for couples, boasting impeccable cleanliness and excellent maintenance. The location was conveniently situated at affordable prices. However, the stairs were steep, making it challenging to transport luggage to the rooms. Check-in was facilitated through the restaurant at the bar; relocating this process near the entrance would minimize disruptions to dining customers. Overall, it was a great experience and I would recommend this establishment.
