Victoria Hotel-Strathalbyn

I honestly cannot give this country pub enough stars. We have been here 5 times in last 2-3 months at a 1.5 hour round trip it is that good. The staff are personable, friendly and efficient. The food is first class. In our first visit I had the best pub fish that I have ever had. Usually opting for grilled you risk bland over cooked fish. This fish was well seasoned and melt in mouth. My husband had Fijian curry which was lick the bowl worthy. Other amazing meals we have had there include the lambs fry, roasted vegetable salad, caesar salad and good old schnitty. Prices are reasonable and lots of different dining rooms which allow you to choose more intimate dining. Using the pass app to order at table food and drinks were delivered in no time. This would have to be our favourite pub in south Australia

This pub has it all. Great value, clean and neat accommodation. Good value drinks and great staff. Highly recommend staying and having a few drinks here. Only issue, no Guinness glasses for the Guinness - blasphemy 😃

A very nice hotel in a fantastic location either way. Staff were friendly. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. Great value including breakfast. Only negative to mention was the cold shower.
