Todd Tavern is a traditional pub hotel beside the Todd River in central Alice Springs, offering rooms for corporate guests and workers. It opened in 1959 as the Riverside Hotel under Mona Minahan, who ran it until 1974, and later traded as the Desert Inn before taking its current name. The tavern describes itself as the town's longest-running hotel.

The warm, traditional atmosphere makes you feel right at home, and the food? Simply irresistible—the burgers, steaks, and juices are fresh and leave you satisfied. The service is excellent, and the staff is extremely friendly, quick, and attentive to detail. The place is special because it's the oldest local pub/hotel in town, and there's no other like it! Even their fries and gravy are the talk of the town—a dish you must try.
