Diplomat Hotel Alice Springs

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We’re currently on a road trip and had a wonderful stay at the Diplomat Hotel. The location is fantastic—right in the heart of the city, making it easy to walk to shops, restaurants, and local attractions. The staff were all warm, friendly, and incredibly helpful. A special thank you to Ressma at the front desk, who was professional, welcoming, and made us feel well looked after from the moment we arrived. The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. While the décor is a little dated and the bathroom could benefit from a few more towel hooks, these were only minor issues and didn’t affect our enjoyable stay. Overall, this hotel offers great value, outstanding service, and a very convenient location. We’d happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city!

Loved the stay, my room was very spacious and bed was very comfy. Shower head would be a struggle if someone was under 180cm (you would need to squat to use it) thankfully I’m smaller then that and can fit right under - you couldn’t move the shower head. Hotel is conveniently located next to a pub and Woolworths and Coles. The locals are very noisy though.

Great location in the middle of everything. Clean tidy rooms. On day one let them know the toilet wouldn't stop running, 4 days later still not fixed.

Great place to stay, walk to the local shops. Has its own restaurant which has very nice food, and great service. Rooms are nice and it depends on which one you choose as to the quality, I have found they are always clean and if you need anything the room staff are happy to help.

Great modest motel in the heart of town. When our heating stopped working, it was fixed when we returned in the evening. Super friendly and professional staff. Rooms more than adequate and clean. Motel offers a brightly lit pub/tavern with decent food and Aussie footy TV matches on every wall. Will definitely return (to the motel)
