Be wary if you want a good nights sleep and stay on a Friday or weekend... booming music for hours Stayed during the rest of the week as well and it was fine, but Friday night, I was up most of the night despite wearing earplugs. Good that breakfast is included, but not a huge menu to choose from. Coffee, but all the mugs were dirty. Reception were lovely, super friendly and helpful. Room was clean, my view was not a seaview, and overlooked the inside balcony so I had to have my curtain shut most of the time, and had very little light. Great location
Had an amazing lunch at Hotel Steyne in Manly! The food was absolutely delicious, especially the pizzas-fresh, tasty, and full of flavour. The service was incredibly fast, and the staff were all very friendly and welcoming. Perfect atmosphere right by the beach, making it one of the best lunch spots in Manly. Highly recommend for anyone looking for great food and a relaxed vibe! 🍕☀️
I had a great experience when I came into the Steyne after lunch. It was busy, great vibe and the staff were fantastic. Without a doubt one of the staff that stood out was Ryan, one of the senior bar staff. He was cool under pressure, got the job done and was backing up all the other staff when it got very busy. An exhibition performance!
Hotel Steyne a historic hotel perched along manly Beach with stunning panoramic views of Manly. Super conveniently located along the Esplanade with range of restaurants, bars, cafes and retail stores at your fingertips. Hotel staying also offers many different tap beers, wine spirits and bistro foods. Along with an Asian style restaurant upstairs at the rooftop. The rooftop bar is certainly the place to be on an ice warm day sipping a cocktail, however I found the cocktails a little bit under the Mark sour and quite expensive for the quality. The rooms are unique with inbuilt en suites comfy beds Storage a small TV and mini bar. During my stay, the shower leaked quite badly through the room which I had to speak to hotel staff in regarding the issue on the night however did not offer any alternative solutions and said nothing could be done until the morning which is a little bit disappointing. Beds are comfy and pillows are soft Hotel Steyne is in walking distance from Manly ferry for an easy commute to Sydney circular Quay. The hotel does not have a carpark so you will need to use the paid carpark to the rear of the hotel which will set you back around $65 per day. Or for a short visit there is metered street parking out front. The hotel does come alive on weekends with live music DJs, etc. Bands. So this is a hotel you’re looking for a peaceful night sleep. Just keep this in mind if it’s not your cup of tea. Reasonably priced for accommodation, food and drinks are a little bit expensive the public bar area is a little bit rundown stale smelling and in need of attention. The rest of the hotel seems quite modern and renovated with a nice vibe. Staff seemed friendly and somewhat helpful. Would recommend for a drink or two as you watch the sunset or a cheap uncomfortable place to stay while in Manly.
