Capella Hotel Motel is a country pub on Peak Downs Street in Capella, in Queensland's Central Highlands, with ensuite motel and pub-style rooms. It opened in 1955 on the corner of Crinum Street, on the site of the old Commercial Hotel, which burned down in 1943.
Every room has its own ensuite, air conditioning, heating, a TV and tea and coffee making. Options include ground-floor motel rooms with a double and a single bed, ground-floor double rooms with block-out curtains for shift workers, and a private workers' bunkhouse room. The bistro seats diners inside or out, and there's a kids' playground, sports bar, TAB, gaming room and bottle shop. Guests praise the friendly country hospitality and good, generous meals.

Just had three excellent nights motel accommodation and two dinners in the hotel’s bistro during our stay. Excellent facility in the heart of Capella. We found the Staff helpful, friendly and way above average for delivering customer service. Rooms are neat, clean, quiet and modern. Full range menu on offer in the pub, the meals we had were generous and delicious.

Great pub, stopped for lunch when driving through. Food was good , friendly, quick service. Beer was cold!
