Calamvale Hotel Suites and Conference Centre

We booked the Calamvale hotel for 2 nights. The staff were very friendly and customer service was exceptional. The location is also great (we caught maxi taxis for an event in the city). The view from our room was really nice - we could see the mountains in the distance. We also booked a table for a big event at the restaurant - the restaurant and bar staff did an incredible job taking all of our orders and cutting and serving our cake. Would highly recommend for people who are organising a big event. Staying at the Calamvale hotel made it that more convenient. Thank you to all hotel, restaurant and bar staff for your help.

I can’t fault this place It’s a perfect venue The restaurant, the motel rooms and all the amenities. Aj The restaurant manager has always been very welcoming and kind to myself and anyone that I’ve brought with me over the years. The food is top notch and the staff are always friendly and do their job very well. 10 out of 10 from me. Kind regards Jason Lamont.

⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ The food was great, the service was friendly, and overall we had a lovely meal at Calamvale Hotel restaurant. However, a special mention must go to the grey chairs at the back of the restaurant. Sitting down on one was less of a dining experience and more of a trust exercise. The moment I sat down, I saw my past, present and future. To be fair, the chair held on longer than my nerves did, but I think it's time for a well-earned retirement. If those chairs could talk, they'd probably be asking for workers' compensation. Replace the grey chairs and you've got yourselves a near-perfect venue!

A special thank you to Gloria from the Events Team for her wonderful assistance in arranging an event room for our large family gathering at very short notice. Her help and professionalism were greatly appreciated, and our family is sincerely thankful for all of her efforts in making the whole process seamless. The event room was spacious and perfectly suited to our needs. We were very impressed with the venue and will certainly consider it again for future family gatherings. We would also be happy to recommend it to our workplace for future events and conferences. Thank you, Gloria, for helping make our event such a success. Your assistance was very much appreciated by our entire family.

A bit of a late post, but we celebrated our daughter’s 21st birthday in the Garden Bar on 28 March and just wanted to say how impressed we were with everything from start to finish. The vibe was amazing, the staff and management were attentive, friendly, and made the whole night feel easy and stress-free. The food and platters were absolutely incredible, the drinks were great, and the karaoke at the end of the night was such a fun way to top everything off. Honestly, this is really just a shoutout to all the staff who worked that night. Every single staff member we came across was amazing — so friendly, helpful, attentive, and just so on point from the beginning of the event right through to the end. The team bringing food out, cleaning up, helping with speeches, security, and even assisting us at the end of the night with vendors went above and beyond. We truly couldn’t fault the team. Aside from some inaccurate information we received beforehand from the Events Manager, the staff and managers working on the night made everything run smoothly and were more than accommodating. The only thing that would have topped it off even more would have been if the TV was compatible for slideshows, but aside from that, the Garden Bar was perfect and we would absolutely host another event there again in the future. Such great value for money and such a memorable night for our family. Thank you so much to everyone involved — you guys were awesome.
