Boomerang Hotel

This maybe a classic motor inn style hotel, but they have clean room, nice bed, great pressure shower, bathtub for soak in, smart TV with streaming app, and quiet working aircon. That is all that I need for a quick stay in during a long road trip. When we need to stop for a night at Albury before continuing our trip back to Melbourne, we choose Boomerang hotel at booking.com. it seems has everything we need with a good price and easy to find location. The receptionist really friendly and helpful, they have private event that night so we understand everyone seems busy but they still give us a good service. We were planning to go to nearby fast food resto for dinner but since it was cold and the hotel offers discount for ordering menu from the bistro, we decided to go there. No regret. We order a Mate's shared meals and when it come it was HUGE can feed 4 😅 only cost us $50. We are pretty happy with our stay!

This is a good hotel. In a great location for passing through or staying a few days. The Bistro is great and good value. Complimentary breakfast was a surprise. Clean rooms. Bathroom had recently?been painted, paint peeling from the tiles, but that's a small cosmetic thing. WiFi a bit weak where we were staying, but I have plenty of my own data so I used that instead. Room was quite large and comfortable, large TV screen, coffee and tea facilities with REAL MILK! Bonus points for that. Really great and friendly staff and helpful. Next time through we will be staying here again. Great value

Stayed here a few times. Has accommodation on the front as well as out the back. The rooms are nothing fancy but are comfortable and big enough for what I was after. Found the service to be good as well as friendly. There is a free continental breakfast available in the dining room. Meals are available for dinner if one wanted to go to the bar of an evening. The hotel is a little distance away from Albury, but still on the main road going through Lavington.

Checked in on 12th April 2026 at around 10:30 PM. It was a great experience overall. The lady at reception provided excellent customer service during check-in. Even though we arrived quite late, she was very helpful. The reception is a bit tucked away in the corner, but it stays open late, which was convenient for us. The accommodation was good and offered great value for money. One small suggestion would be to have a sink and tap , as they already provide the basic facilities. It was also a bit difficult to locate the accommodation at first We stayed in Room 19, which was good overall. We left happy with our stay.
