The Tamworth Hotel

Nice hotel room and bathrooms. I am removing 1 star due to the heating system in the room. It went from a ice box to a over heated sauna when the manager turned the heating upto 25 degrees with no control internally from the room. If the temperature was normal its 5 stars from me.

Stayed in Tamworth 1 night on our way back to Brisbane from Sydney- Stopped in at the The Tamworth Hotel for an early dinner with our 2 crazy kids (3 and under) and the staff were amazing! So hospitable, accommodating for the kids by giving us colouring items and just having that warm country vibe! Can’t recommend enough and the lovely lady that served us you made the experience so easy and enjoyable, plus recommend the bicentennial park which we would’ve missed and it’s also such a good park! Food was amazing too! Recommend the cheeseburger and the lamb special if it’s on!

Had lunch here, sat out in the lovely beer garden with our fur baby. We had the Duck Arancini and both had the French Steak Sandwich. Both tasted great and would recommend.

Nice old style pub. Rooms well appointed. Fast & friendly service. Meals are excellent. Shared bathrooms are spacious and clean.

Rooms were nicely refreshed while sticking to the classic pub accommodation vibe. Liked the shared en suite amenities. Two detractions: cleaners were playing music loudly in the pub area early in the morning and there was a very loud compressor which cycled off and on all night - may have been on the neighbouring building. But every time it started up it woke us.
