Prince of Wales Hotel

Have only been few times and it's already my new favourite place in town. The food is some of the best, as is the service. I can't rate the hotel experience as I'm yet to hire a hotel room, but definitely plan on doing so.

Got a parmi looked great except for the pile of weeds that are passed off as salad. Unfortunately it just lacked flavour fantastic size but flavourless. I'll be back buy not for the parmi. Staff are amazing friendly and helpful cold beer almost tick all the boxes.

Did an overnighter here. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very good for the price, the beds comfy and the pillows decent. There was a band on in the evening and the continental breakfast was a nice way to end the stay. For the price I paid, I was very happy.

Overall, it was a mixed experience for lunch at The Prince of Wales. We received too many drinks, but to their credit, the staff refunded the extras without us even having to ask, which was appreciated. The meals took around 45 minutes to arrive. There was a large group that had ordered before us, so that likely contributed to the delay. When we checked on our order, the waitress went into the kitchen but completely forgot why she'd gone in, which was a little frustrating. When the food finally arrived, the beef schnitzel came out with the wrong sauce. The other two meals, however, were well prepared and tasted good. While there were a few service hiccups, the staff handled the drink mistake well, and most of the food was enjoyable. With a bit more attention to service and order accuracy, it could have been a much better experience.

This is a beautiful old pub that has everything for all ages. The staff are caring, the restaurant is super, and the rooms at the side are very comfortable and we couldn't hear the live music. Breakfast included if your hungry after a terrific dinner. Really enjoyed our stay.
