Middle Park Hotel is a restored Victorian corner pub on Canterbury Road in Middle Park, Melbourne, with 25 ensuite rooms upstairs.

First licensed in 1889 and fully restored in 2009, it is about a five-minute walk from Albert Park Lake. Each room has an ensuite with a walk-in shower, from doubles and queens up to corner king suites and an apartment with views over the lake to the city. Rooms have air conditioning, smart TVs, plantation shutters and window seats, plus free wifi and a guest lounge. There is no lift. The wood-panelled dining room uses English oak from the MCC Long Room, and there is a beer garden. Guests often praise the steaks and the friendly staff.

Rare steak was cooked to medium. It was still tender so i didn't send it back. Calamari was perfect. We did wonder why we couldn't have been seated in the restaurant though, as requested. They had plenty of tables free, but we were told they were full. They forgot we have to walk through the restaurant to get to the bathrooms so we could see They were practically empty.

I recently visited The Middle Park Hotel on a Sunday since our friend recommended their Sunday roast. We hadn’t been in a while and I was quite impressed with what they have done with the place. We loved the outside beer garden vibe! Despite it being very busy staff were very accommodating with our requests, especially Morgan who helped with our dietary requirements. We will be coming back again!

Always came here for Thursday steak night. Always served quality chargrilled steak, beautiful house salad with yogurt-ish dressing, shoestring fries coved with herbal salt. Popular beef tartar is also a great option for a light dinner with a cocktail.

Love this place. Beautiful location food in the bar is high quality and the staff are super nice. Only downfall is lack of parking but after staying a couple of times you soon learn where to park.
