Duke Of Marlborough Hotel

Weekend of 12th June was our 60th WA. We had a lovely room in an amazing old hotel which was furnished to perfection. The staff were wonderful from Thomas in front of house who was such a nice helpful young man. Richard our waiter was a hoot, such a fun personality. And the lovely lass (with the accent)who brought us 2 glasses of complimentary bubbles. Our meal was just so delicious. Our whole weekend was make perfect by the gorgeous hotel and its wonderful staff. Thank you so much 💓

this place just keeps getting better and better. the location is fantastic. beautiful views over the harbour. the dining room/bar area is inspirational. we ate at the restaurant and the food was interesting and delicious. the staff were so friendly and professional. the rooms are basic but very clean. this place is a gem.

I have visited a few times over the years to their amazing restaurant. Fantastic new Zealand menu with some great dishes. Unfortunately my last visit was disappointing and certainly not the standard I have come to expect over the years. Service was friendly but wait staff lacked knowledge of food served, a few simple questions asked involved checking. The food was very much off the mark. Seafood platter extremely disappointed, prawns really bad and old from frozen, I am sure if the chef had tried them he would not have sent them out. I am not sure what part of the platter was fresh and the waiter didn't tell us what we where getting. Tasteless and things like the risotto and pipis just tased like butter, poor balance and seasoning. Is the past the Paua risotto has been something special. Still amazing location. Super fun and friendly bar and wait staff. Usually on point, unfortunately not last night with their food. Hopefully just a bad night and not the new norm

My friends and I had an excellent experience at Duke of Malborough restaurant. We made our booking on the day. Judika took our booking, and all our requests were implemented. Sophia was our waiter and looked after us in a very professional manner. Our food was great. We opted for main and dessert. Everything was cooked to perfection. All three of us enjoyed our evening, including live music and sunset. The team at Duke of Malborough did a great job. We definitely recommend the place.

I didn't use the accommodation but I went to the restaurant half of the building and might I say that was the best experience of my life. The waiter, Richard, was funny and charming and made my experience amazing. Additionally, the menu was stellar, and exceeded every expectation i had. If I could go back right now I would any day of the year. I 101% recommend going here.
