Blue Pub Methven

Had a meal here tonight. Unfortunately my steak and chips came out very cool after a long wait. My wife's meal was fine. However Riya was fantastic in getting mine sorted so all ended well. I thought she was fantastic, quite the energizer bunny... but the other waitress could probably use a little hospo training ie not just saying "you done?" when collecting plates!

Went to the Blue Pub in Methven last night and had a great time. The pub is easily recognisable from the road, which makes it hard to miss. The staff service was excellent — friendly and efficient even though the place was packed. I was pleasantly surprised to find they had a live band playing, which really added to the atmosphere. The food was good, and the whole place had a fun, lively vibe. Definitely a popular spot and well worth a visit.

Great food. Great service. Great location. Staff are very attentive especially Riya. Our order took a while to get to our table, but was perfectly understandable since the pub was quite busy. The food was very much worth the wait. Delicious!!!

We went for lunch on the 1/8/26 the older woman with glasses we were greeted by was lovely. Food and Drink was nice and even a extra my partner is Gluten Free and the options available was more than expected. We revisted later that evening for a band and found it was so busy that a inside seat wasn't available and it was too cold outside so we decided to carry on. but overall great service and staff

We had beautiful meals-the best fish meal I have had in ages. Lola looked after us superbly. She was very welcoming & friendly. Great pub with great atmosphere! Thank you for lovely meals.
