Blue Pub Methven

Went to the Blue Pub in Methven last night and had a great time. The pub is easily recognisable from the road, which makes it hard to miss. The staff service was excellent — friendly and efficient even though the place was packed. I was pleasantly surprised to find they had a live band playing, which really added to the atmosphere. The food was good, and the whole place had a fun, lively vibe. Definitely a popular spot and well worth a visit.

Great food. Great service. Great location. Staff are very attentive especially Riya. Our order took a while to get to our table, but was perfectly understandable since the pub was quite busy. The food was very much worth the wait. Delicious!!!

Stopped in after a long day up at Mount Hutt snowboarding and was after a nice warm homemade meal. Which we received!! Steak was cooked perfectly, chips were some of the best we’ve had and the absolute winner on the menu was that they offered Mac and cheese as a side with the steak… Yum with a capital Y. Service was excellent, atmosphere was top notch and pricing was affordable. We will be returning tomorrow night as well ✨😍

We had beautiful meals-the best fish meal I have had in ages. Lola looked after us superbly. She was very welcoming & friendly. Great pub with great atmosphere! Thank you for lovely meals.

Had an awesome experience at the Blue Pub. Chris and the team provided outstanding service and made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. Chris was friendly, professional, and went above and beyond to ensure everything was spot on. The atmosphere was great, the food and drinks were excellent, and the hospitality was second to none. Highly recommend the Blue Pub if you're in Methven—we'll definitely be back
